Attention Students/Graduates,
The time to submit topics for your diploma thesis has begun. Proposal topics submitted by supervisors will appear in the APD system (apd.usos.pwr.edu.pl). After logging in to the system, you have the ability to search for topics and save selected topics as "observed," but this does not mean that the supervisor has reserved the topic.
In order for a topic to be reserved for your thesis, you should contact your supervisor to agree on the details of the collaboration.
Students who collaborate with a supervisor who is employed by the Wrocław University of Science and Technology but from a different faculty than the Faculty of Chemistry should submit an application for approval of the thesis outside the Faculty of Chemistry/outside the Wrocław University of Science and Technology to Prof. Joanna Cabaj, Vice-Dean.
Students who want to conduct their diploma thesis outside the Wrocław University of Science and Technology should submit appropriate documents to the dean's office: an application for approval of the diploma thesis outside the Faculty of Chemistry/outside the Wrocław University of Science and Technology WUST as well as a topic proposal for conducting the diploma thesis outside the Faculty of Chemistry/outside the Wrocław University of Science and Technology.
An academic teacher with at least a doctoral degree and employed as an assistant professor or senior lecturer specializing in the scientific discipline consistent with the student's field of study may be a supervisor for a diploma (bachelor's/master's) thesis.
Documents related to conducting the diploma thesis outside the Faculty of Chemistry or outside the Wrocław University of Science and Technology should be submitted to the student's dean's office no later than May 31, 2023.
During the semester in which the subject is being conducted, the student should enroll in it with their assigned supervisor.
According to the Regulations for Degree Programmes at WUST § 35, p.8, the student chooses the topic for the diploma thesis and, therefore, the supervisor of the "Diploma thesis" subject.
Only one supervisor can oversee the diploma thesis. The topic and supervisor for the diploma thesis must be determined before enrollment in the "Diploma thesis" subject.
